In December 2019 I had a week to do a whistle-stop tour of the Californian coast after presenting at a conference in San Francisco. As soon as I’d finished work, I jumped in a hire car and set off south to Monterey and Big Sur, before heading back up to Point Reyes. It was my first big, solo trip and I loved every minute of it!
